She's official, with a name and blessing and everything. Meet Lily Johnson. Congrats again to Megan and Erick, she's beautiful. I'm finally an aunt, and my kids finally have a cousin, and I must say, are pretty excited. Livi keeps putting food off to the side of her plate, and tells me she's saving her cousin a bite.
Our trip to California was fast and furious. We got in late Saturday night, and of course stayed up even later to chat. At about 1:30 in the morning mom decided to pull out her dress to iron it for church the next morning, and discovered that they hadn't pulled their suit bag off of baggage claim. Did I mention church is at 9:00 and the airport is about 45 minutes from Meg's house? We made some frantic calls to the airport to see if they could put the bag in a cab or find some kind of shuttle service, but they told us to pretty much jump in a lake and wait for the lost and found to open at 5:30. Anyway, Erick and dad got up early and with Erick behind the wheel, made a record breaking land race to the airport and back so that nobody had to go to Sacrament meeting in their jammas. We like to keep things exciting.
All went well, we fixed quiches, fruit parfaits, orange rolls and hash browns for brunch and took loads of pictures. Gage was a mess and didn't hardly sleep the whole weekend, while lovely Lily took a 5 hour nap in the afternoon and slept most of the night, and was all around the opposite of my kids. I'm not sure we can be friends yet. I guess it just further confirms my theory that all the bad habits my kids have come straight from Dax's genes!
Enjoy the pics. Oh, and yes, my hair is really that short and my dress is really that green!

Breya, I love your hair. It's so cute. Remember, I mainly know you with short hair- when we met your hair was very short. You look great. And, by the way green is my new favorite color, it reminds me of "wicked." Little Lily is a cutie. What fun it is to have cousins.
Breya,
WONDERFUL to have you blogging! We love pictures of your darling kids and your cute new do! And that new niece is pretty cute.
Glad to hear "mimi" didn't have to go to church in her jammies. Scandal!
Just me again-saying Hi!
