A Couple of Characters

Livi won this award her very first month of school. We were such rookies at being parents of an elementary school kid, I don't think we knew at the time what a big deal it was. Since then, I've had her teacher tell me what a great student she is, and how she helps clean up after all her classmates, and helps the teacher all day. She loves her class and is so kind and responsible, her teacher wishes she had a class full of Alivias.

We're so proud of our kindergartener, and mostly glad that she loves it too.

Gager

So I sort of feel like Gage has become my middle child - which he is, I know. But with that comes taking a little bit of a back seat to the other squeaky wheels, you might say.

Livi, love her to pieces, but she's a pretty dramatic 5 year old with lots of needs and lots of places to go, like kindergarten and dance class and play dates.

And Van, although he's such a good baby, he still is just that, the baby - and gets mom and a bottle, gets picked up when he cries, or even if he doesn't, plays with all of Gage's toys, and pretty much rules the roost around here.

Poor G - he's sort of in the middle. He kinda gets lost in the shuffle, and is often just along for the ride. But for the most part he just goes with the flow. He doesn't make too much fuss, likes his pop with ice, and occasionally needs ice cream for lunch, but who doesn't?

He's happiest laying on the kitchen floor playing cars, out in the sandbox, watching his own show - Barney, or helping Dad in some way. He loves to tell knock-knock jokes, ride his 4-wheeler, sit in Poppy's truck, and eat rice and cheese. He's all boy, and who doesn't melt at this face?
