What you missed...

First Day of School

We took a quick weekend trip to Tamarack and rented this cute little chalet.

Mimi and Poppy joined us for some hot tubbing and hiking around the ghost town of a ski resort in the off season.

We ended up at Cascade Lake, where the kids spend the afternoon making mud pies.

We finally got to meet baby Adele Raona Bourne.  Congrats Andy and Saramarie, she's beautiful!

Megan came for a visit and brought a couple of our favorite cousins. 

We celebrated Rosy's birthday, even though she's nowhere to be found in this picture,

and had a really white trash marshmallow roast, sorry mom!

 The kids spend a few days on the farm, while Dax and I took a weekend to ourselves (more on that later). 

They sat on all the farm equipment...

and built houses out of washer and dryer boxes.

We also threw a fantastic Harvest Party.  We had about 40 friends over for dinner and dessert under the stars.  

It was a great night with some great friends, and a few of our favorite and newest family members.

All in all, September and October treated us well.  Did I mention its my favorite time of year, for all of these reasons!!
